Kate's Bibbumun Walk 2008.

This is me and my sister-in-law Kate who has just completed the thousand kilometre Bibbulmun Walk (thereabouts), by herself, sleeping "rough" in wooden huts most of the time. She did it in about nine weeks. Amazing! Jeez! I wouldn't have lasted more than one day. This photo was taken at Donnelly River where we had met Kate to take her some fresh food supplies etc. I think she was feeling a little tired that day (not surprising, is it?). Kate is a nurse ... and she's holding me up ... because I was feeling a little tired ... just thinking about it!

Colin Hugh Abbott feeding a possum

Feeding a possum, Jarrahdale, October 2008. We really should encourage the little buggers. I believe they put 'em in the stew in New Zealand. They can make a hell of a noise at night time as they clatter around on the roof in their bloody hobnail boots! I must buy them some slippers.
